Replace Your Old A/C Units Today before Prices Increase!

The US Department of Energy is mandating a change, by the end of 2024, that will greatly impact the price of new air conditioning and heating systems. Beginning January 1st, 2025, and to be compliant with these new regulatory measures, all manufacturers will be required to transition to systems that use new A2L refrigerants. This includes, but is not limited to, Lennox, Trane, Carrier, Goodman, Rheem and Bosch manufacturers. The A/C and heating industry has been anticipating and preparing for this change for the last two years; one which will result in the price of new air conditioning units increasing by 20% or greater. Please review the attached sources below for further details and information.

Did you know that the average A/C system lasts approximately 10 years in Arizona? While some high-quality units may last longer, this is due to the high summer temperatures and the continuous demand being placed on the equipment. As well, the average manufacturer’s warranty is between 5-10 years in duration.

If your current A/C system is 10 years or older and out of warranty, it may make sense to consider replacing it now, before the refrigerant change takes place, and you’re faced with an even greater out-of-pocket expense. As previously mentioned, please review the articles below to learn more, there is no eluding these upcoming price changes and increases.

To better assist our community, by keeping prices low, Collins Comfort Masters has amassed a large inventory of current, new, high-efficiency A/C heating systems that can save you thousands of dollars in energy expenses while getting ahead of the upcoming price increases.

If you would like to schedule a free in-home consultation with regards to a new A/C heating system, or to learn more about the upcoming changes, please contact us at (480) 655-0278 at or click the button below.

Free Second Opinions on AC Repair in Phoenix

Is a second opinion always necessary? Maybe not always, but we believe in the better safe than sorry philosophy. Watch out for these telltale signs that you should absolutely get a second opinion from another Phoenix AC contractor before you start any repairs.

  • You get offered a deal that's simply too good to be true.
This is usually a sign that the HVAC contractor is either using low-quality parts and products or will surprise you with hidden costs once the job is done.

  • You're working with an unlicensed HVAC contractor.
Although they may have good intentions, unlicensed HVAC contractors may be lacking the skills and experience necessary to provide you with an accurate diagnosis.

  • You get pressured into paying for services ahead of time.
This is a red flag that the HVAC contractor does not have your best interests in mind.

  • You get offered one-day-only special pricing and discount.
You'll never know whether this is a sales tactic or an honest discount if you don't do your due diligence and double-check with another company.

  • The HVAC contractor doesn't provide a “no hidden costs” quote.
Anyone who is unwilling to guarantee no hidden costs will probably try to trick you into paying more. However, don't confuse hidden costs with problems that may arise once the repairs get started.

If you are needing a second opinion on air conditioning repair, give us a call today, and let us re-diagnose your problem for FREE.
